My Serious Games

I design serious games to promote deeper learning and foster critical thinking about societal topics and technological issues.

If you are interested in using one of the game, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

In today’s fast-changing world, interdisciplinary thinking and making complex decisions under uncertainty is a vital skill that is often overlooked in traditional education. I design serious games that help learners develop essential future skills, such as systems thinking, critical thinking, futures literacy and technology ethics.

By simulating real-world challenges, the games foster self-efficacy, empowering individuals to trust their own judgment and decision-making abilities.

My goal is to create engaging environments where learners can experiment, reflect, and grow—preparing them for the complex decisions of tomorrow.

Change Management • Organizational Transformation • Stakeholder Management • Ambidexterity • OKRs •  Simulation for Large Groups

FABREX Change Simulation

Mission Impossible is not just a game—it’s a comprehensive learning experience designed to help learner tackle the tough leadership dilemmas. Combining an interactive e-Learning session with an immersive decision-making game, the game introduces participants to the principles of paradoxical thinking. In the e-Learning session, they explore how to navigate conflicting goals and seemingly impossible choices, an essential skill for leaders in dynamic, innovative environments.

After the theoretical foundation, they step into the shoes of a managing director at a family-run brewery. Every decision they  make in this game directly influences the future of the company. With each scenario, they have to find a balance innovation with tradition, risk with stability. Available in both English and German, Mission Impossible offers a real-world simulation that challenges your leadership and decision-making skills.

Artificial Intelligence • Ethical AI • Biased Algorithms • Cognitive Biases • Equity & Inclusion • Escape Room

Injustice ex Machina
Injustice ex Machina is designed as an immersive escape room game based on the real-life case of the COMPAS software — a controversial US court case where biased algorithmic risk assessments led to unfair sentencing. In this game, player are put into the role of an investigator uncovering the truth behind a conviction that seems unjust. As they navigate through puzzles and hidden clues, they will learn about the algorithmic and cognitive biases that influenced the decision, sparking critical discussions around the ethics of technology design. This game is available both in English and in German.

Managing Ambiguity • Paradoxical Thinking • Both/And Approaches • Decision Making • Family Business • Single Player Simulation

Entropic Encounters

Entropic Encounters is an immersive and collaborative game that leverages the power of Science Fiction Thinking to explore the creation of inclusive, resilient, and sustainable futures. In this interstellar journey, players travel to distant planets where diverse societies have emerged, each shaped by the challenges faced by underrepresented communities on Earth. These societies have developed innovative solutions to foster equity, sustainability, and resilience.

Through role-playing and world-building, participants engage in critical discussions about how these futuristic innovations could look like and how they can inspire change in our own world. Entropic Encounters challenges players to think creatively about inclusivity and the possibilities of a just future. More than just a game, it is an invitation to reimagine what our world could become.
